Category Description
After completing their study programme, food technicians work in manufacturing, packaging and storing of foodstuffs within the food industry and trade and also in industrial kitchens. Foodstuff manufacturers prepare meat, fish and vegetable products, salads, sweets, biscuits, canned products, drinks and prepackaged pastries.

The demonstration category in Food Technology will be organized as an invitation competition for institutes in the following towns: Iisalmi, Jyväskylä, Kokkola, Kuopio, Oulu, Pori, Rovaniemi, Seinäjoki and Turku.
