This category is based on the curriculum-based training of a basic vocational degree, the curriculum being that of Publishing and Printing and the study programme of a Layout Designer (graphic designing and editing, and the mastery of publishing and image processing software). The tasks are based on the requirements of level 3 (on a scale of 1-3). During the competition, the participants will produce an entity of three 2-4 -colour print designs. They will design a graphic layout and use MacIntosh workstations for implementation, using up-to-date graphic software and taking the printing requirements into account.

The designs of the contestants will be projected to the audience during the competition.
