Category Description

Competitors design sketches for presenting and making clothes and describe the materials used in their competition designs. They create a design/designs that is/are workable in terms of proportions and forms, regarding the theme of the competition task and the manufacturing technique of the product. Each competitor makes their own cutting patterns with necessary seam allowances and notes. They also make an economic cutting plan for a single cutting, in which they take the thread direction and the features of the fabric and model into consideration.

Competitors create products according to the task description. They select working methods that are technically usable and of high quality. They interpret and follow the instructions given in the task descriptions, and are able to independently use machines, devices, handicraft equipment and auxiliary instruments that facilitate manufacturing. They also make their creations with high quality, meeting the set requirements, in the given time limits and following work safety instructions.
