TaitajaPLUS
In connection with the Taitaja competition, a TaitajaPLUS vocational skills event will be organised for students with special needs. Students taking part in this competition have a disadvantage or a disability that affects their everyday life. An individual educational plan (IEP) is a prerequisite for participation. The minimum age for participants is 15 years, no upper limit.

The TaitajaPLUS competition takes from 1 to 2 days, and the daily competing time varies between 3 and 6 hours. The participation fee is lower for the competitors in the TaitajaPLUS event.

The categories of TaitajaPLUS in 2010 are the following: Customer Service and Selling, Cleaning Services, Catering and IT/Networks Support, and also Preliminary Training as a demonstration category. .
