Skills Finland coordinates vocational skills competitions in Finland. The organisation aims at developing the status and attractiveness of the Finnish vocational education and know-how. The organisation was founded in 1993, and it cooperates with other associations and interest groups that share their values and objectives and that are interested in promoting the trades requiring practical and manual skills. Skills Finland is supported by the Ministry of Education, The Finnish National Board of Education, institutes and the main organisations representing business life and educational fields.
